As an owner/ agent of Lindan Insurance, I’m proud to serve our community as an independent insurance agent with over 15 years of experience helping families and businesses protect what matters most. My goal has always been to provide personalized coverage solutions that fit each client’s unique needs — with the care, attention, and expertise they deserve.
Being an independent agent means I work for my clients, not the insurance companies. This allows me to offer a variety of options from trusted carriers, ensuring you get the best combination of coverage and value. Whether it’s home, auto, flood, or commercial insurance, my focus is on building long-term relationships and providing peace of mind through every stage of life.
I reside on the New Orleans lakefront with my wife, Ellis, and our two young children, Porter and Holland. When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of all the wonderful culture, food, and community that New Orleans has to offer.

Dan Crowley is the owner and agent at Lindan Insurance LLC, formerly Lastrapes Insurance Agency, proudly serving Louisiana and Mississippi since 2009. With a commitment to integrity, education, and service, Dan helps clients navigate the complexities of auto, flood, home, life, business, and commercial insurance. His focus is on building lasting relationships by listening first, explaining options in plain language, and tailoring coverage to each client’s unique needs and budget. As an independent agent, Dan represents multiple trusted carriers, providing objective recommendations that fit both coverage needs and financial realities. Outside of the office, Dan is married to his wife, Lenee, of 19 years residing in Lakeview with their son, Dan Michael, who is a student at Brother Martin High School.
